Chief of Staff
Caroline graduated from Tufts University with a Political Science and Community Health degree. She first worked in the House for Representative Mary Keefe from Worcester and then for Representative Byron Rushing. As Chief of Staff, Caroline keeps the office running on all cylinders and serves as the Senator's primary advisor.
Gretchen Van Ness
As General Counsel and Legislative Director, Gretchen manages all of the Senator's lawmaking work and serves as the Senator's chief legal advisor.
A Framingham native, Alana grew up with close ties to the District and worked as the Field Director for the Senator’s campaign in 2018. Alana currently lives in Newburyport with her boyfriend and spends her free time learning to snowboard and going to farmers markets. As Outreach Director, Alana maintains strong relationships throughout the District and manages all constituent services.
A Medfield native and graduate of McGill University, Evan first collaborated with Team Rausch as a field organizer for the 2018 coordinated Democratic campaign. He is a 2019 New Leaders Council fellow, Americorps alum, Fulbright scholar, and avid potlucker. As Legislative Aide, Evan is the go-to team member for the widest variety of work, including administrative support, constituent services, and managing the Senator's calendar.
