Madelein Kantzabedian McCormick 

Chief of Staff

Madelein has dedicated her professional career to assist our most vulnerable populations through work in the non-profit and government sectors. She earned her B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley and her J.D. from Rutgers School of Law, Newark. Prior to joining Senator Rausch's team, Madelein served as Cambridge Mayor Sumbul Siddiqui's Chief of Staff. During her spare time, Madelein enjoys reading, hiking and spending time with her two dogs. As Chief of Staff, Madelein manages the Senator's office and serves as the Senator's chief advisor.

Jaime Watson

Director of Legislation and Policy

Prior to joining Team Rausch, Jaime led statewide advocacy efforts and drafted successful legislative initiatives as the Public Information Officer/Legislative Liaison at the Arizona Criminal Justice Commission and the Public Policy Advocate at the Arizona Coalition to End Sexual and Domestic Violence. She received her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law, where she was a Public Interest Law Scholar, and received her B.A from Arizona State University. As Director of Legislation and Policy, Jaime advises Senator Rausch on all legislative matters and implements the Senator’s legislative agenda.

Stephanie Bensadoun

Director of Communications

Stephanie has focused her career around organizing on issues such as sexual violence, environmental justice, and education. She has specifically focused on using social media to inform and engage people on the issues that affect them. She received a dual Masters in Public Administration and Applied Politics from Suffolk University. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys staying active through a variety of sports and exploring more of Massachusetts with her dog. As Director of Communications, Stephanie advises Senator Rausch on the Senator's communications strategy and media relations.

Aidan Doherty
District Director

Aidan brings years of political experience to Senator Rausch's office from a wide array of organizations. While specializing in electoral campaigns, he has also worked with advocacy groups, youth activists, labor unions, and legislative leaders. Aidan received a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Vermont, where he specialized in American Government and minored in Public Policy Analysis and Speech & Debate. In his free time, Aidan enjoys cooking and  experimenting with bread baking. As District Director, Aidan develops, maintains, and supports relationships with district constituents, local and federal governments, commissions, organizations and other partners.

Jena Burgess
Legislative Aide

Jena is committed to increasing the accessibility and transparency of the political process for those within her sphere of influence. She has a B.A. in political science with a minor in nonprofit management. Prior to joining Senator Rausch's office, Jena worked to support women running for office and protect First Amendment rights. During her free time, Jena loves baking and live music. As Senator Rausch's Legislative Aide, Jena manages the Senator's schedule, assists constituents, and provides support for other staff members.
